I breed mainly for myself, but occasionally have puppies or young adults available as companions. My goals in breeding are to breed to the AKC standard, as well as breeding for sound, healthy puppies in both mind and body. I believe that even though Poms are "Toy dogs", they need to be sound structurally so they can be active, playful, happy companions as well as competitors in conformation, obedience and agility, etc. I am currently secretary of the Pomeranian Club of Greater Des Moines, a member the American Pomeranian Club, as well as a member of Iowa Great Lakes Kennel Club. I have also taught beginning obedience classes and really enjoy helping people train their dogs to be great companions.
