CH Pom Acres Skip A Beat

10/29/1996-3/30/2006

Unfortunately I lost Skipper in March-I miss him very much.

I purchased Skipper, my first show dog, from Juanita Fiddick of Pom Acres Kennels in 1998.   It took me awhile to learn the grooming, conditioning etc. that goes along with winning in conformation as well getting Skipper to "show" in the ring - he would rather play outside the ring!  When we finally got it together he finished quickly with three majors and a couple two-pt shows, completely owner handled. Thanks Juanita for all your help and encouragement, and for having faith in a beginner.  Skipper is 4 1/2 lbs with correct coat, little ears and is a very sound mover.  He is such a sweetie and was the perfect dog for me to learn with.

My Little Lady Sadie

December 29, 1996 - December 25, 2011

Sadie was the beginning of my "Pom Habit".  She was my first Pom and definitely thought she was in charge here.  She was a wonderful mother and even after she was spayed, she still wanted to "mother" any puppies we had.  Sadie would have loved to show,  but grew just a little too big.) The only offspring that I have left of hers are  her great grandson, Kodi and his daughter, Josie. I hope to keep her personality  and attitude going with them. She will be missed very, very much!!!

KaMaLa's Skip to My Lady Lucy, CGC

December 31, 1998 - February 20, 2009

Lucy lost her 17 month battle with nuerological problems. Even with lots of testing we didn't ever find out exactly what happened to cause her problems, but she did well on the meds for quite a while. She was a very special little girl and will be missed very much.

Lucy is Katelyn's very spoiled companion.  She was born on Dec. 31, 1998.  She is one of six puppies Sadie and Skipper had in their first litter.  She really doesn't think that she is a dog.  Katelyn and Lucy have fun participating in 4-H obedience, showmanship and agility as well as other fun activities such as dressing up for Halloween.

Obedience

Katelyn & Lucy have completed several obedience classes and Lucy has her CGC title. In 2002 at the fair, they got the top score of 197 in the first year dog & exhibitor obedience class. They did very well in 2003 also - getting top score of 191.5 in the large sub-novice obedience class. In 2004 they got reserve in the Novice class. In 2005 they were first in the Grad. Novice class with a score of 192.

Showmanship

They won the Novice Junior class at the fair in 2003 over approx 20 exhibitors. Now they have to compete in the Supreme Handling class at the fair. In March of 2004 Katelyn & Lucy competed in Junior Showmanship at the American Pomeranian Club National Specialty in Louisville, KY, placing third in the Novice Junior class. In September, 2004 they received a purple ribbon in the Supreme Handling class at the fair and also received the same in 2005.

Agility

In 2004 they got to compete in Agility for the first time at the fair. They received first place in the Novice Preferred Agility class at the fair. In 2005 they competed in the Open Preferred Agility class at the fair and received the only perfect score of all the classes!

KaMaLa's Little Red Fireball

September 19, 1999-January 26, 2010 Zoey we miss you!!!!

Zoey is the daughter of Sadie and Ch. Pom Acres Atomic Fireball.  She is a beautiful red girl who hates to travel - even short car rides - so we didn't push her show career.  She has a very nice, thick, red coat and is very intelligent with a fun attitude.  She would rather stay home and be a Mom than go anywhere in a car.  Her grandchildren will hopefully be showing soon, as well as her daughter, Lexi, born 1-29-07, out of Linetree's Don't B A Hero at KaMaLa, Billy.

KaMaLa's Catch Me if You Can

**Chase is now living with Marsha & Ron.** He was born on January 29, 2007. His mother is Zoey & father is Billy. I kept him to see if he might be a show prospect. While he is a very nice boy, I decided to place him, we are keeping his sister Lexi. He is a loving, outgoing 4 1/2 - 5 lb orange sable boy. He will need a fenced area to exercise and play. He does like attention and to cuddle also.

Inchallah's Quicksilver

Quiggly is now living with a breeder in California. Good Luck with him Lacey!

KaMaLa's Forever in Blue Jeans (Levi)

APRIL 2011 **LEVI NOW LIVES WITH LANA & ANDY AS THEIR COMPANION**

Levi was born on December 29, 2005. He had two brothers. His mother was Zoey and his father was Quiggly. Katelyn and Levi have been working on 4-H obedience and agility. In 2006 they had top score in pre-novice obedience at the Clay County Fair. In 2007, Levi & Katelyn competed in obedience, agility and showmanship. They did very well in obedience and agility. Katelyn, with Levi, was awarded the Top Showmanship award out of over 30 competitors!!

KaMaLa's Listen With Your Heart

Disney was born on 6-14-09 along with her brother Tonka (Harper). Their mother is Gini and father is CH Ichi.
Disney is a very smart and playful little girl She doesn't like to walk on a lead very well, like her mother, or I probably
would have shown her.
Disney went to live with Ron of RonE Pomeranians in the summer of 2012. I hope she does well there. .

Eli

"Eli" is neutered and available to be someone's loyal companion. He was 4 years in November 2011. He only weighs about 4 1/2 lbs and loves attention. His puppy picture is on the puppies page. Contact me for more information if you might be interested in giving Eli a loving forever home.

October 13, 2012, Eli went to live with Kathy from Des Moines, to be her little companion.

KaMaLa's Yabba Dabba Doo

Pebbles was an only puppy out of CH Pom Acres Atomic Dictator (Thanks Juanita!) and Ch Marbil's Tickled Pink. Being an only puppy she was very spoiled, so has quite an attitude.
